About

Meet Jared

I'm Jared Janczak, MS, a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), Group Fitness Instructor (AFAA), and Certified Nutrition Coach (NASM) based in Madison, WI. I bring an evidence-based approach that goes beyond typical personal training, connecting the mind, body, and physical activity to help everyday people get genuinely strong, move better, and build a body they trust.

My approach is simple: individualized programming, 1-on-1 coaching, and habits you can hold onto for life. Whether you're recovering, competing, or just getting started, you get a plan built for you and a trainer in your corner.

Philosophy

Education & Approach

I believe lasting health isn't created through motivation alone: it's built through education, evidence-based coaching, and sustainable behavior change.

My work combines psychology, exercise science, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and behavioral health to help individuals improve both performance and long-term wellbeing. Whether working with athletes seeking higher levels of performance or individuals simply wanting to regain confidence in their health, my goal is the same: create practical systems that produce lifelong results.

Every program is built around the latest evidence in exercise science while recognizing that every person brings unique goals, experiences, and challenges.

What Clients Say

"I started recovery work with Jared after a long period without exercise due to a health issue. He was specifically recommended because of his expertise beyond what is typical in a personal trainer. Working with Jared for more than 18 months helped me recover and then improve on my past fitness successes."

"Working with Jared is about more than just strength. He adds important focus on stability and tweaks goals over time, helpfully pushing for patience and focus."

Joe A.

"Jared is very easy to work with. I appreciate his flexibility with my schedule and his willingness to incorporate my other activities. Working with Jared, I found easy ways to add weight sets alongside my other activities. I'm now more comfortable using weights on my own, and I can see the results."

Kate N.

"Jared adapted a program to fit my needs competing in Strongman and other strength sports while also aiming to improve overall body composition. He was willing to field my questions and took in my feedback to help mold the program to what my body needed at any given time."

"Jared helped me look past the scale as the measure of success in the weight room, instead focusing on improved movement and cognitive function."

Brock P.

"Jared definitely helped me with my mobility. We talked a lot about diet and exercise. I can dribble a basketball now; beforehand I couldn't. He always has me thinking: if you're on your last rep, try one more. Jared has taught me to go to the gym every day."
